Oarfish stranding triggers earthquake fears

Oarfish is considered the longest fish ever. They have an average length of about 8m but it has been seen by 17 m long fish. This fish is considered having the ability to predict earthquakes

Oarfish are large, greatly elongated, pelagic lampriform fish belonging to the small family Regalecidae. Found in all temperate to tropical oceans yet rarely seen, the oarfish family contains four species in two genera. One of these, the giant oarfish, is the longest bony fish alive, growing to up to 11 m (36 ft) in length.

This fish has appeared in some beach in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia before
The scientific study said that due to living near the seabed should oarfish more sensitive to the movements of the earth than to those living near sea level. Therefore, it is not wrong to say this fish has the ability to predict earthquakes
